Welcome, friends, to Concerning Fantasy. That name may be somewhat misleading (as may be the image I’ve chosen to use). To be sure, I will be writing much about the fantasy genre. My favorite movies (and books) are The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and my favorite television show is Game of Thrones. However, the titular “fantasy” of this site extends to the arts of all genres. That is, in the sense that all creative fiction is fantasy – not only the stories set in imaginary worlds.
I’ll be learning as I go, writing for this site. I make no claims of being even an average web designer. I’m a beginner, plain and simple. But I’m hoping, for now, that my enthusiasm will suffice.
The content you will find here will range from reviews and essays on film, television and literature to more informal discussions. Some of these will be brief, while others may take up far more space.
My first entry should drop soon. Where things go from there, we shall see.
